I love Jesus. On these pages I wish to pay my tribute of gratefulness for what He has done for me.
I am not a theologian. I have a degree in software engineering, and it was in my field of work that I came across something called "managed code". That concept helped me choose a name for the kind of experience which I consider we all need to have with God, in order to be saved ourselves, and to be able to preach the gospel to the whole world. Preaching the gospel means living it, not talking about it. That's why we need to be managed by God.
God is perfect love. There is no such thing as an eternally burning hell, even though unrepentant sinners will certainly be punished for their transgressions. The ultimate punishment is the second death. The tragedy of the second death is that lost people will be eternally dead when they could have been eternally alive. In my life God shows tenderness, patience, respect, concern for practical needs and He cares for me in ways far beyond my ability to understand. He is always there.
Our Father is the Guarantor of perfect freedom. He pledged His freedom to us, He who can not lie. The earth and the heavens will perish before He will break any of His promises. He sets us free from sin, by having allowed His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us. The interesting part of it is that God not only pardons our sins, but He also empowers us to live holy lives, without sinning again. What do you say about that?
